The Junior League of Panama City’s Holly Fair began in 1989 as a way to raise awareness and support for the Junior League of Panama City’s community projects.
This year Holly Fair is celebrating its 25th year and has grown to one of Panama City’s premier shopping events and largest fundraisers with over 60 merchants traveling from all over the United States. Holly Fair, along with our other fundraising events such as Mystique and JLPC’s 5K Race Series, make it possible for the Junior League of Panama City to support and promote our many diversified projects such as After School Assistance Program where we help mentor at risk children, Child Service Center, which clothes approximately 1200 students with schools uniforms, and shoes each year, Girls On The Run where we help educate and prepare girls for a lifetime of self respect and healthy living, and V.OI.C.E.S, Volunteering for Others, Inspiring Change and Empowering Self. That is just a few of our many projects that we take part in. Throughout the past 24 years, Holly Fair alone has raised over $3,178,000 for our local community.
2013′s Holly Fair is Chaired by Kelly Brannon and has a committee of over 20 active Junior League Members to pull the fundraiser together year-round. We will kick off the fun on Thursday, November 7 with a Preview Party for those who want to get all dressed up, dance and enjoy a live and silent auction. Other special events in addition to the general shopping will occur on Friday, November 8th with a Champagne Brunch, Saturday November 9th with a Girls Night Out offering a fun laid back shopping experience with wine tasting and discounts.
The Junior League of Panama City is an organization of women committed to promoting voluntarism, developing the potential of women and improving communities through the effective action and leadership of trained volunteers. See you at Holly Fair!
